This 2-day advanced training is designed to have immediate clinical applications, and is dedicated to those health care professionals who want to learn a comprehensive Manual Therapy approach to Shoulder - Elbow & Hand pathology.
Instead of prescribing to a single, isolated manual therapy school of thought, Hands-On Seminars teaches a Comprehensive Integrative Manual Therapy approach to Shoulder - Elbow & Hand Pathology. This evidence-based program integrates the 47 years of clinical experience of Hands-On Seminars founders Dimitrios Kostopoulos, PT, MD, PhD, DSc, ECS and Konstantine Rizopoulos, PT, DPT, FABS, with some of the teachings of leading manual therapy experts such as: Janet Travell, David Simons, Geoffrey Maitland, David Butler, Leon Chaitow, Lawrence Jones, Freddy Kaltenborn, Stanley V. Paris, Robin McKenzie, Vladimir Janda, Karel Lewit and others. This eclectic approach results in selecting the most effective, efficient, evidence-based Manual Therapy techniques for the specific pathology.
Participants will be taught integrated, comprehensive techniques from the following approaches: Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Strain & Counter Strain (SCS), Shoulder - Elbow and Hand Mobilization and Manipulation, Neurofascial Mobilization, Shoulder - Elbow and Hand Stabilization, Proprioceptive Training.
Differential diagnosis, evaluation and treatment methods will be taught in extensive lab sessions. Participants will learn advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques along with extensive lab sessions. The instructors use very effective didactic approaches, utilizing advanced multimedia methods.

- Create appropriate Manual Therapy Treatment Protocols that may include: Trigger Point Therapy, Deep and Superficial MyoFascial Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, Strain - Counter Strain, NeuroFascial Mobilization, Lumbar Mobilization-Manipulation, Lumbar Stabilization, Muscle Strengthening Systems, and Proprioceptive Training.
- Demonstrate how to effectively treat acute and chronic Shoulder - Elbow and Hand pathology.
- Perform Advanced Treatment techniques for unresolved Shoulder - Elbow and Hand pathology.
